On this Day of Giving, we’re asking SCU alumni to help us raise $100,000 for a bronze-cast bench and statue featuring our beloved Bucky Bronco, posed proudly in front of the Bannan Alumni House. This new campus landmark will spark excitement for current students, prospective Broncos on campus tours, alumni during Grand Reunion, and campus visitors alike.
Your gift will help create a timeless symbol of Bronco pride. Imagine future alumni sharing stories with their grandchildren about the iconic Bucky Bronco bench. Picture the memories you’ll create when you bring your loved ones back to campus to see it - and snap your own photo - in person.
The Alumni Association will launch a formal photo program to kickstart this new tradition. Incoming students will receive pictures with the mascot bench during their first year and again before commencement, offering a meaningful moment to reinforce a lifelong connection to their alma mater.
