Here at the School of Education & Counseling Psychology, we’re preparing educators, mental health professionals, and social impact leaders who are dedicated to positively transforming schools, communities, and the greater society through work rooted in social justice. Our school is entering an exciting era of both reflection on the journey we’ve had and optimism for the years to come. With our first year of online programs under way, our first EdD cohort graduating this June, and celebrations of key milestones – 40 years of our health psychology emphasis and 10 years of our ExCEL Catholic teaching program – we’re entering this year’s Day of Giving with a determination to continue building upon this remarkable progress.

A gift to the Dean’s Leadership Fund will elevate increased support for students as we seek to continue expanding access to a quality Santa Clara education, and promote research by our faculty members who are making lasting contributions to their fields of work. 

It is truly inspiring to witness the meaningful work our students, faculty and alumni are enacting in our communities, and your support will enable them to continue this work. 

Going all in for Education & Counseling Psychology means you’ll be going all in for educators advocating for students in high need areas, all in for educational leaders uprooting and improving systems built for some but not all, and all in for therapists seeking to bring much needed mental health conversations to the forefront.
