University Library - A Place for Opening Minds
The Santa Clara University Library is open. Our doors are open to the public to provide expert assistance to users from all walks of life. Our airy, inviting building is open to students from early morning to early morning, so they can master their subjects in secure comfort. We ask students to open their minds to new knowledge, by offering thought-provoking research guides authored by librarians and providing access to diverse collections and materials. We bring together everyone and every department with our services, collections, and a variety of spaces to study, socialize and connect.
Critically, the University Library is a central hub for events that foster candid and caring dialogue on topics related to Jesuit values, current events and creating a more just world. The University Library hosts talks by authors such as Javier Zamora, author of Solito, events for students to de-stress during finals week, and exhibits that highlight the scholarly and creative work of faculty and students. This space to be together is even more critical today as we grapple with the challenges and opportunities of our world at this moment.
Your gift to the Library will support University Library events and programs that help us expand our impact on students’ academic and personal journeys. We can’t thank you enough for making the University Library a place where everyone belongs and minds are opened!
