SSDP: Start Making Sense
Students for Sensible Drug Policy is raising money to be able to provide students with harm reduction resources, such as Fentanyl Testing Strips, free of charge.
“I always feel so much safer knowing that substances have been tested. Even though I don’t use, I always have a couple testing strips around just in case someone else mentions it. It really brings me peace of mind.”
“With the rise of fentanyl, especially in the Bay Area, it’s just not worth it to not test.”
“Fentanyl related deaths are too frequently in the news, especially young people. I always make sure to test before using.”
As an organization we neither condone nor condemn drug use. We use education to empower and give students the tools to make safe choices. We recognize the harmful impacts of the War on Drugs, especially on communities of color and low-income groups, and seek to remedy these effects through education and advocacy. We operate with a value for harm-reduction and provide resources to ensure that our fellow students are making safe, informed choices.
