Hermanas Unidas provides undergraduate, graduate, and professional leadership opportunities and resources to predominantly Latina/Chicana students by organizing academic, community service, and social events/workshops.

“During the birth of HaU, affirmative action was very prevalent in our schools. We not only faced the challenges of leaving our families but also, we were looked upon as if we were not good enough to be there. Over the years Hermanas Unidas has provided Latina/Chicana students a safe place to build community and have fun! Hermanas Unidas has hosted events such as Banquet, Queer Quince, and others alongside the MCC.
