Theta Tau

Santa Clara’s Only Co-ed Professional Engineering Fraternity

Theta Tau is Santa Clara University’s only premier co-ed professional engineering fraternity.  Theta Tau is a fraternal organization built upon three main pillars: service, brotherhood, and professional development. Our mission is to uphold these pillars amongst our chapter made up of SCU undergraduate engineering students from a variety of disciplines in order to ultimately benefit the larger community.

This year, we are hoping to start an education program that will serve to introduce the field of engineering and basic skills applicable to all disciplines to local elementary school students. As SCU engineering students with a common goal of helping others and sharing our knowledge, we want to provide an enriching and motivational experiential learning program that inspires future engineers.  We are also moving forward with a multidisciplinary project to create a robotic dog, the Tau Dog, that incorporates all areas of engineering.  This project will be a great way for our fraternity to work together to create something creative and challenge our minds. We deeply appreciate any generosity you provide to us.
