Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers

Santa Clara's SHPE Chapter: Leading Hispanics in STEM

SHPE is dedicated to fostering a vibrant and inclusive community on campus, embracing not only Latiné students but all underrepresented individuals seeking belonging and support. Our mission is to empower every member.

SHPE provides comprehensive support to its members through academic, professional, and social aspects. Our workshops are tailored to enhance students' educational and career paths, while our social events foster strong bonds within our community. Additionally, we run specialized programs to further assist our members, such as the MentorSHPE initiative, which pairs underclassmen with upperclassmen for guidance, and the SHPEtinas program, dedicated to empowering Latina students in STEM.

Furthermore, our organization actively engages in a variety of events and opportunities. From the annual SHPE National Convention, where members expand their networks and gain valuable insights, to collaborations with companies and other organizations. We are committed to providing ample opportunities for our members to thrive and succeed. Any support in advancing our mission of creating opportunities would be greatly appreciated.
