An Invitation to Lean-in to the Climate Crisis
What is tUrn?
tUrn climate crisis awareness and action week has become one of the largest continuing conferences at Santa Clara University, with 10,000 participants from around the world. Why? Because the Earth, our only home, is on its way to becoming hotter than a pizza oven. We need to tell the stories of exactly why we are in this situation, how we got here, whose fault it is, why it has not been solved yet, who is paying the biggest price for the greed of the global north, and what we can all do about it. Enter tUrn.
tUrn has become a prestigious destination for students seeking to develop their climate leadership capacities in intercultural programming and presentations, project management, creativity, embodied solidarity, and climate justice.
tUrn weeks feature sessions from local and international partners on everything from ecology to economics, sociology to science, law to laudato si’…over 25 headliners that are free and open to the public.
