Chemistry & Biochemistry Department

Build a vibrant community of Bronco chemists and biochemists!

Your donations support a vibrant Bronco community of chemists and biochemists by allowing us to sponsor student research experiences, chemistry and biochemistry-themed field trips or social gatherings, and student travel to professional conferences. These co-curricular experiences build strong relationships between students and faculty and between students and their peers – professional connections they’ll need as they launch their careers as scientists, healthcare professionals, and problem-solvers. With the help of your donations, we also purchase and maintain cutting-edge instrumentation for the laboratories to ensure that Bronco chemistry and biochemists enter the workforce with advanced hands-on training.

“The department does a great job of not only teaching us about chemistry and biochemistry, but also fostering a love of the subject beyond the classroom, whether it be by discussing their personal research fields, giving real world examples of the things we learn in class, or a fun chemistry joke every once in a while!”
