Help NCIP fulfill its mission to Exonerate, Educate, and Reform.
The Northern California Innocence Project (NCIP) is a non-profit clinical program at Santa Clara Law that works to obtain the freedom of innocent people. NCIP offers Santa Clara Law students the chance to do transformative work while learning how to practice law.
Our work changes lives. Our most recent exoneree, Miguel Solorio, spent 25 years in prison for a murder he did not commit. Miguel was arrested at 19-years-old and released at 44. Freeing people like Miguel would not be possible without the support of our donors.
NCIP has more than 70 active cases in various stages of investigation and litigation, a full policy agenda, and a new class of future lawyers to educate.
