Our Day of Giving may be over but you can still make a gift here.
SCU Presents

“Your play told about my familia. We just came from Mexico this past January. Gracias.”
- Hector, Immigrant Education Program

Right now, people all over the world are celebrating the SCU Day of Giving by supporting a mission they believe in.

Will you be one of them?

SCU•Presents, the performing arts center at Santa Clara University, believes the arts connect communities and oh boy, do we need that now. Our programs include Arts for Social Justice (ASJ) which focuses the arts on social justice issues; immigration, climate change, and other relevant issues that creates a catalyst for change in our community by taking plays and SCU artists to schools. A Visiting Artists program brings professional artists to campus and we support the SCU Academic Performing and Visual Art departments on campus.

At the heart of SCU•Presents is our social justice mission and your support will make a difference.

The plays The Circuit & Breaking Through – educate about the divisive issue of immigration in our country. These annual 50-minute plays by Francisco Jiménez are about the life of an immigrant child in California and educates students about immigration in our community. Annually, the play tours to over 30 elementary and middle schools in Silicon Valley and reaches over 5,000 students.

“Thank you for an unforgettable experience! Our students were able to visualize themselves at a university and see their own life experiences in the play. We would not have been able to come without your generous offer to pay for our transportation. We are truly grateful for the memory you gave our students. They will remember it forever. In Gratitude.

- Teachers of Mintie White School, Watsonville

If you haven't yet joined our incredible group of SCU supporters to strengthen, nurture, and promote the Arts - now's your chance! You can make a difference.
