As we slowly emerge from our homes during the pandemic, we have learned the importance of increasing outdoor time to provide for better overall health and safety. Being in nature also lifts our spirits and helps us feel connected to something bigger than ourselves.
Help us create a space to Nurture through Nature!
Previous Day of Giving donations allowed us to purchase new playground equipment, including monkey bars and a log tunnel to support gross motor skill development. Additionally, we collaborated with the School of Engineering students to design, build, and install a solar-powered dynamic shade system! This year we're looking to create cozy outdoor classroom spaces with your support. The Day of Giving 2021 funds will allow us to focus on the use of natural materials to enhance and improve our outdoor learning environment.
Kids on Campus is a non-profit child development center that serves children between the ages of six weeks and six years of age. We strive to provide high-quality early care and educational experiences for the children and families associated with Santa Clara University. We promote self-reliance, creativity, respect for the rights of others, and positive self-esteem for each child.
