Student Engagement and Wellbeing
The Division of Student Life at Santa Clara University provides leadership in developing innovative co-curricular programs and student support services that respond to student needs outside of the classroom. We aim to set the standard for engaging students in transformative and developmental experiences to live a life of meaning and purpose. Through a culture of care and an inclusive community, we accompany students in their development by promoting student success, wellbeing, and personal responsibility; and providing transformative opportunities, programs, and services.
Building on our comprehensive campus-wide approach to addressing student mental health and wellbeing, Santa Clara continues to expand our efforts to meet the needs of the increasingly diverse and complex student body. Our systematic and interconnected approach to student wellbeing includes programs to develop life skills; promote social connectedness; identify and respond to students at risk; increase help-seeking behaviors and provide a comprehensive array of resources to address mental health, substance abuse, basic needs, and overall wellbeing.
This Day of Giving, join SCU's commitment to making student engagement and wellbeing an integral part of its mission to educate and care for the whole person.
