Discover, experience, and be inspired by all the de Saisset Museum has to offer!
Arts and culture play an important role in the intellectual and creative lives of our students and the de Saisset Museum offers dynamic educational opportunities that complement and expand their experiences in the classroom. Students are integrated throughout the work of the de Saisset Museum from course projects to direct work experience. Over the past year, SCU students have drawn inspiration from our exhibitions and collection to create artworks for display at the museum, curated and installed exhibitions for our galleries, supported collections management and research efforts, and developed programming for their peers and beyond.
As a center of lifelong learning, the de Saisset Museum supports Santa Clara University's goal of educating the whole person through our collection of nearly 12,000 objects of art & history and our thought-provoking exhibitions & programs.
Contributions to the museum’s Discretionary Fund support student internships, programmatic developments, enhanced classroom connections, and our overall ability to support student learning. Donations to the Inouye Fund help support our exhibitions which provide connections to multiple disciplines and audiences. Gifts to the museum’s Endowment Fund help us build capacity. And your support of the California History Fund enables us to continue to expand the exhibition California Stories and its related resources for SCU students and the greater community, including our California History Docent Program.
From artist lectures and panel discussions, to exhibition tours and course projects, to internships and employment the museum engages with hundreds of SCU students each quarter. Your financial support of the de Saisset Museum on this Day of Giving ensures we can continue deepening these connections to students’ learning and their overall student experience.
Please join us in continuing to grow the de Saisset Museum as a space of discovery, experience, and inspiration.
