At the core of SCU•Presents PAC is our Arts for Social Justice Program, a vital outreach program that raises awareness of critical issues through different art mediums and is a catalyst for change in our community.
SCHOOL OUTREACH TOUR RETURNS IN 2023-2024.
Our project with the greatest impact focuses on our communities' most important asset: our children. The Arts for Social Justice program changes lives across Northern California with our touring presentations written based on books by Francisco Jiménez. These honest, powerful, and heartwarming semi-autobiographical plays follow the Jiménez family, an undocumented Mexican-American family, as they journey across the border through the fields of California. Students in 50 local schools have seen the plays and have been affected by the power of theatre!
YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE.
A generous gift to SCU•Presents PAC is your chance to make an impact! Your donation of $25 gives each student a study guide, $100 to $500 funds a local school performance, while, $1,000 to $2,500 affords the opportunity to present the plays to migrant education programs in the Central Valley. Please consider donating so crucial work will continue to be offered through the Arts for Social Justice Program. Your gift will:
