We Do Service in the Santa Clara Area While Building Solidarity Among our Members!
Hi there, we are the Belles, SCU’s only women’s service organization!
We plan multiple service events per quarter like creek cleanups with Keep Coyote Creek Beautiful; sandwich making for the Bill Wilson Center; volunteering at food pantries and soup kitchens like Second Harvest Food Bank, CityTeam San Jose, and Martha’s Kitchen; letter writing for women diagnosed with breast cancer; tutoring students at Santa Maria Urban Ministry, and more! Additionally, we plan quarterly fundraisers and drives to raise money and products for period poverty and the local food pantries we work with.
“I love getting to know other Belles while doing service with them, especially when we’re off campus where we interact with members of the community and can get a better understanding of who we’re serving.” — Indrea Goyal, Belles Co-President
100% of your donation will be put toward helping fund our service events, whether it's buying ingredients to make sandwiches for unhoused teens, buying canned goods to donate local food pantries, buying menstrual products for women who can’t afford them, or paying for transportation for our members to volunteer at off-campus locations. We greatly appreciate whatever you’re able to donate to help those in need in the Santa Clara community!
