Situated on the Santa Clara University campus surrounded by the stunning beauty of Silicon Valley, the Latinx Student Union is a truly remarkable place to go to during school. LSU serves our local community in grades 9-12, grade 12 students transitioning to the SCU Campus, and current college students, forming a student body with students from across the United States and over 20 countries around the world.
At each stage of the student journey, from ninth grade students to seniors preparing for a career upon their university graduation, LSU’s goal is constant: to provide a carefully designed and individualized sequence of cultural learning that prepares them for what comes next. Our core values of respect, safety, and inclusion inform our club culture, emphasizing the importance of bringing kindness, empathy, and compassion into our daily lives. We strive to create an atmosphere where, as a student, you are free to be who you are. Drawn from a multitude of backgrounds, cultures, and experiences, our board [“Concilio”] and general members will help students challenge assumptions and open their eyes to a world of new perspectives.
