We appreciate your support, today, and every day.
Your gifts allow us to offer students extracurricular experiences that support their intellectual, vocational, and creative development -- including paid internships, Canterbury fellowships, research and creative collaborations with faculty, and opportunities to present their original work at conferences, and more -- complementing the engagement with in literature, cultural studies, professional writing, creative writing, and film studies in their coursework. Gifts also make possible extracurricular events that extend students’ learning beyond the classroom and build community, such as the Bronco Slam and Jam poetry series featuring SCU student performers; the Writing Forward Reading Series, which this year has featured award-winning poets John Sibley, Rachelle Escamilla, Marcelo Hernandez Castillo, Naomi Quiñonez, and Matt Sedillo; and student-led events organized by English majors and minors through the English Club.
Our students engage in learning that prepares them for success in the arts, education, technology, policy, business, and law, serving the communities of which we are a part in Silicon Valley and throughout the world. We are especially proud when our students measure their success after they graduate by how much they can give back to make the world a better place. This wouldn’t be possible without the support of people like YOU!
With your gift, you can ensure that we are able to continue offering first-class teaching and fulfilling experiences that transform students into the leaders of tomorrow.
