Student Organizations
STUDENTS ARE INCREDIBLY THANKFUL FOR YOUR SUPPORT

At SCU we have nine Chartered Student Organizations (CSOs) and over 140 Registered Student Organizations (RSOs), each with their own purpose and passion. By donating to our CSOs and RSOs your generosity will support their programs, initiatives, and day to day operations. If you'd like to donate to a particular RSO, please choose Other Student Organization and be specific in your donation. Thank you for supporting our students!

Some RSOs that are doing big things:

  • Camp Kesem

    • The Santa Clara Chapter of Camp Kesem is a community, driven by passionate college student leaders, that supports children through and beyond their parent’s cancer. By offering innovative, funfilled programs that foster a lasting community, we aim to ensure that every child impacted by a parent’s cancer is never alone. Last year at our summer camp we had 60 children and 30 Santa Clara counselors involved. Fundraising is an important part of chapters mission because camp is free to all the children that attend.

  • Hipnotik

    • Hipnotik was founded in 2006 by SCU alumna Ashley Batz and Mandy Rawls, who saw a need for the representation of hip hop on SCU's campus. Originally, Hipnotik was a small, student-run and choreographed crew with participation from anyone who was interested. Currently, Hipnotik holds annual auditions during the fall quarter, has guest choreographers, and remains a student-run crew. Since 2011, Hipnotik has been directed by Travis Dean Hernandez (VIP San Jose).

  • TEDx

    • TED is a global community welcoming people from every discipline and culture who seek a deeper understanding of the world. We believe passionately in the power of ideas to change attitudes, lives and, ultimately, the world. In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience, where x=independently organized TED event.

TEDxSantaClaraUniversity aims to bring a TED-like experience to our Jesuit institution that is devoted to educating citizens and leaders of competence, conscience, and compassion to build a more just, humane, and sustainable world. We hope to provide students with a forum for fostering curiosity, excitement, and conversations that matter.
