This Day of Giving, give a Santa Clara student the opportunity to explore future career paths at an award-winning library!

The University Library is committed to supporting SCU’s promise to be an inclusive community for everyone. Starting next fall, the library is launching a Diversity Fellowship program designed to expose undergraduate students from diverse backgrounds to professional work in an academic library setting.

During the paid, year-long fellowship, students will gain practical experience in different areas of academic librarianship and make key contributions to projects related to diversity and inclusion. Possible projects include:

  • Organizing a diversity-related lecture series
  • Developing customer satisfaction surveys and focus groups to assess library services
  • Observing librarians teaching research instruction to SCU classes in a variety of subject areas

All donors will receive a limited edition set of Santa Clara-themed notecards as a small token of our appreciation. Thank you for your generosity!
