The Center for Sustainability advances academic and public understanding of the ways in which social justice and sustainability intersect by integrating principles of social, environmental, and economic sustainability into campus operations, academic and student life, and outreach programs.
On a daily basis, we host events and programs, implement initiatives, provide strategic consultation, and share stories that help the University achieve climate neutrality, practice mindful consumption, develop a culture of sustainability and use the campus as a living laboratory.
Gifts will improve sustainability operations and programming on campus, enabling SCU to reduce our climate impact, mitigate the effects of climate change and strengthen our community’s resilience, health, and culture of sustainability.
