Below you will find answers to many common questions about 2020 Day of Giving.
Why give on March 4, 2020?
Your gift will go further on March 4 and have a greater impact thanks to generous Bronco supporters who have funded multiple challenges. Your gift to the campus unit or program you care about most can have a double impact. It will give a direct boost to your unit or program. And it can help your unit or program win a share of the day's challenges. Throughout the day, live leaderboards will show progress for the challenges, making it possible to follow along in real time.
What is All In for SCU?
All In for SCU is our annual Day of Giving—an inspiring online fundraising event and Bronco rally on March 4, 2020.
All gifts made on March 4 between 12:01 a.m. and 11:59 p.m. PST will count toward SCU's Day of Giving, and the running total will help unlock the challenges issued throughout the day.
Why is it important to be counted in on March 4?
SCU's annual Day of Giving is not a spectator sport. It's all about joining in and being counted. The more Bronco alumni, family, and friends who give, the more others will be inspired to follow the lead. It's that simple. And that's why we call the day All in For SCU.
What if I am experiencing an error on the donation page?
Please delete symbols such as # and & (for example, Apt #31). We have found that this "fixes" most of the processing problems. If your gift form still is not working, please call us directly at (408) 408-554-4400.
What are the Day of Giving challenges?
Adding to the excitement and fun of the day, several special micro-challenges aimed at benefiting specific units or programs, or encouraging social media engagement, will be announced and activated during the day.

Besides giving, how can I help All In for SCU be the best giving day ever?
Let everyone know! Tell your friends, family, and networks that you’ve made a gift, and encourage them to give. Post on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram using the hashtag #allinforSCU. Send an email. Make a call.
Better yet, sign up to be a Day of Giving Ambassador by clicking on the Ambassador tab at the top of this webpage. You'll have access to a personal dashboard with special social media tools that make it even easier to reach and share the excitement with your network. You can also track the impact of your messages, including the number of new gifts you've motivated.
However you choose to get the word out, you can make an enormous difference in the success of SCU's Day of Giving.
How can I follow the action? Where are the challenge winners displayed?
On March 4, follow the excitement on givingday.scu.edu. Click Challenges & Leaderboards to see the challenges and real-time results.
How can I get more information?
Email giving@scu.edu or call 408-554-4400.
How does counting for the challenges and leaderboards work?
If you find it in your heart to support multiple areas across campus, thank you!
However, we will make adjustments on the back end if we identify "ballot-stuffing" -- a large number of small gifts made to a specific school, center or initiative to inflate the number of donations. You will do more to support the areas you care most about by making your gift and then spreading the word to encourage others to join you!
