Campus Recreation is committed to the Jesuit ideal of educating the whole person - body, mind and spirit. Campus Recreation seeks to fulfill this commitment by providing services that enrich the lives of the SCU community through a broad scope of recreational, educational, and competitive programming.
“We have a very active student body and see over 1400 students daily at the Malley Center, and have over 7,000 students in fitness classes. I love how involved the students are in our programs,” says Janice DeMonsi, Director of Recreation.
Support on the day of giving will allow Campus Recreation to invest in equipment enhancements for many of our programs. Some of the areas we would like to address are in the Malley Center we need additional 25 pound plates in the weight room, at the pool we need new lane lines, and club sports needs funds to offset travel cost.
“As a college student eager to stay healthy new and improved equipment in the weight room would benefit both my mental and physical health,” Patrick Wortmann, ‘21.
