Ahmanson Veteran Scholarship Initiative
Supporting Student Veteran Efforts!

SCU has a rich military history dating back to the founding of the institution. During this time, SCU has played a pivotal role in providing a quality education for Veterans, whether it was those who served in World War I, II, Korea, Vietnam and the recent conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan. Today, our student veterans include undergraduates and graduates in Law, Business, Engineering and Education.  These Veterans are returning from serving their country and are seeking the opportunity of a SCU quality education.

Today, SCU’s student veteran population is growing. Our challenge is ensuring that Student Veterans have the financial support to make an SCU education a viable and realistic option. It is harder for student veterans to attend private schools due to the funding limitations of the GI Bill. The Ahmanson Veteran Scholarship Initiative is vital in helping to enhance and provide additional means to support Student Veterans in their path toward success.

SCU Student Veterans provide a valuable contribution to the SCU Community and have been successful students both inside and outside of the classroom. Your contribution will allow us to grow the level of support that we can provide to our Student Veterans to ensure their continued success as well as continued growth.
