An invitation to lean-in to the climate crisis

tUrn is an interdisciplinary, intercultural, intergenerational, international invitation to lean into the climate crisis. Because it is time. And we must. Since Fall 2019, the semi-annual tUrn Climate Action week has become one of the largest continuing conferences at Santa Clara University, with expert speakers and 5000 attendees from around the world attending thus far.

tUrn promotes critical inquiry, large and small-scale solutions, BIPOC and frontline community leadership, and features sessions on everything from ecology to economics, sociology to science, law, religion, business, the arts, child studies, with a special emphasis on systemic solutions and debunking disinformation. tUrn partners include over 100 SCU faculty, staff, alumni and expert guest speakers, ten Jesuit universities, fifteen international partners, and tUrn is a member of the U.N. Paris Committee for Capacity-Building Network.

If you are concerned that our graduates do not understand the reality or urgency of the climate crisis, and may need more orientation, preparation, skills, knowledge and strong relational networks to help them in the coming decades, consider donating to tUrn help make a much-needed u-tUrn and drawdown global warming justly. Gifts support the development of curricular and co-curricular experiences for dozens of students engaged in climate crisis research and solutions.
