University Library, a place for everyone

What comes to mind when you think of the library? Undoubtedly books, study spaces, and most importantly, people. At the University Library, everyone has a place where they belong. We bring together everyone and every department with our services, events, collections, and a variety of spaces to study, socialize and connect. The University Library is one of the most popular campus destinations for all.

One of the most important parts of our success is our incredible team of student workers. Each year, the University Library employs about 50 students across the various library departments, making us one of the largest and most sought-out employers of students on campus. These student workers are ambassadors for belongingness, creating a welcoming environment for our diverse student body.

Our team of library managers and supervisors mentor our student workers, giving them guidance, professional development, and a confidence boost when they need it. As members of the library student worker team, they forge new friendships with other Broncos, build professional communication skills, and gain critical job experience in a fun and diverse environment. 

Now more than ever, our support requires your support! Your gift to the Library will help us expand our impact on students’ careers and academic journeys. We are embarking on new programs for student workers, including new leadership opportunities, ongoing professional development, and enhanced team engagement.
