On April 6th, Go All in for CGLP!
"From internet and privacy law to energy policy to business transactions, global law and policy touch upon nearly every aspect of contemporary legal practice. In our increasingly interconnected world, it is critical for legal professionals to have a solid understanding of international legal issues to be successful in their field." — Director of the Center for Global Law and Policy Tseming Yang
Santa Clara’s Center for Global Law & Policy (CGLP) trains students to meet this challenge. Through our vast offerings, students gain a competitive edge by building the skills, knowledge, and global competency they need to become 21st century leaders. Our program features distinguished faculty and a broad array of courses in international and comparative law, brings together JD and LL.M students from around the world, has the largest and one of the oldest summer abroad programs of any US law school, offers externship placements spanning the globe, hosts influential international speakers and scholars on campus throughout the year, and thrives from an extraordinary global alumni network.
Students graduate from Santa Clara Law with a commitment to excellence, ethics, and social justice. Our international law alumni go out into the world to become legal experts in their field, forming an unparalleled global network and resource for students. Many alumni continue to support CGLP by mentoring current law students, guest lecturing, hosting students overseas, and making generous financial contributions.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, CGLP has continued to innovate and is planning to offer 3 virtual programs this summer, and our human rights option includes a 1-week course taught by the current President of the International Criminal Court, Judge Chile Oboe-Osuji.
Your support helps CGLP continue to train the global leaders of tomorrow, today.
On April 6th, support the internationally renowned Center for Global Law and Policy.
