Help the Rainbow Resource Center educate, empower, and celebrate the experiences and identities of the LGBTQ+ community at SCU!
As a part of the Office for Multicultural Learning (OML), the Rainbow Resource Center (RRC) maintains an affirming, inclusive, and welcoming environment for people of all identities within the wide spectrum of sexual orientations and gender identities at Santa Clara University.
Help the Rainbow Resource Center celebrate over 10 years of educating, empowering, and celebrating by supporting our key initiatives as we:
Continue to design and coordinate educational events, programs, and trainings such as our signature Safe Space Training, which helps to promote an inclusive campus and advance knowledge about the LGBTQ+ community.
Highlight the importance of community amongst all SCU Broncos who may self-identify as LGBTQ+ and work with the institution to collect more robust demographic data on those who self-identify as LGBTQ+.
Support our Student Inclusion Educators (student staff) who are the main leaders of our programs, events, and in helping to keep the RRC open from day-to-day.
Advocate for the importance of authentic representation by bringing in guest speakers who can offer perspectives that we may not have based on the identities of our team.
Expand the Rainbow Resource Center through capital improvements to the center to help expand the capacity of the RRC, which has grown exponentially since its inception in 2011.
