AI Collaborate
Our club is dedicated to supporting and developing AI projects of varying difficulties and technologies while fostering a network where industry professionals and students can connect, collaborate, and share resources. Through our community-driven approach, we aim to facilitate meaningful collaboration, provide mentorship, and offer resources that help members achieve their AI goals and drive impactful results. American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics Santa Clara University Chapter
The AIAA SCU Chapter is the student organization on campus dedicated towards the understanding of engineering principles behind aerospace vehicles. Its goal is to educate undergraduate engineers in the control, operation, construction, and maintenance of quad-copters, satellites, propulsion systems, drones, and other air and space vehicles. Your support will help us fund materials, competition fees, and educational programs that make these opportunities possible.
American Society of Mechanical Engineers
The SCU chapter of ASME provides mechanical engineering students with opportunities to connect with their fellow classmates, learn new engineering skills, network with industry professionals, and give back to good causes. In keeping with our mission of bringing together the mechE community, we host numerous exciting professional and casual events, while also providing various career benefits and club merch. AGC provides SCU students of all majors access to Construction Management education, real-world experience, and networking opportunities to expose them to and best prepare them for a career in Construction Management. Association for Computing Machinery (ACM)
The SCU chapter of the Association for Computing Machinery is a community for students passionate about computer science. We provide opportunities for members to develop real-world skills through workshops, hackathons, and collaborative projects while fostering professional growth through networking, mentoring, guest speakers, jobs, and internships. Your donations to SCU’s ACM chapter will help us host more off-campus events like company visits and socials, provide prizes and food for workshops, and support future hackathons and professional development opportunities. Your support directly empowers the next generation of innovators by creating more opportunities for students to learn, connect, and gain real-world experience in tech.
Association of Computing Machinery - Women's Chapter
Santa Clara University’s ACM-W is a club that supports and advocates for women and non-binary individuals in all aspects of the computing field. Through our workshops, mentorship program, and guest speaker events with alumni and industry representatives, we help students develop both academic and professional skills and connect them directly to the real world. Additionally, we offer opportunities for students to apply their skills in a hands-on setting, such as our annual hackathon, Hack for Humanity, and by partaking in conferences across America like the Grace Hopper Conference, to foster sisterhood and empower each others’ success! Your donations towards SCU's Association of Computing Machinery - Women's Chapter will go towards funding our guest speaker events, workshops, mentorship program, and self-hosted hackathon-- this could mean providing our members with temporary subscriptions to follow-along as we teach them new coding skills, or allowing us to make our speakers' visit special and meaningful, forging a lifelong connection between ACM-W, and them.
Biomedical Engineering Society
The Biomedical Engineering Society (BMES) at Santa Clara University is dedicated to connecting students of all backgrounds with interests in biomedical engineering by providing social and professional opportunities for growth in this field. Events include alumni and professor panels to help students learn more about the field and research opportunities, an annual career fair with local biomedical companies and frequent social events to promote inclusion as well as academic curiosity. Your donations to BMES will help us increase the reach of our organization by funding more engaging social and professional events, including major conferences like the National BMES conference in San Diego happening this upcoming academic year. Through these events, we hope to reach the wider community beyond SCU to collaborate with other peers and industry leaders, working towards building an innovative and sustainable future in biomedical engineering through a collaborative and strong community!
Engineers Without Borders (EWB)
The SCU Engineers Without Borders chapter is dedicated to helping global communities engage with sustainable engineering solutions. Your donations to SCU’s Engineers Without Borders chapter will go towards funding our project with Bucky’s Closet and travel to Arkansas this spring which will directly benefit the community of Hope by providing them usable recreational area in Northside Park. These experiences enrich the engineering expertise of our members, and any donation is greatly appreciated!
Google Developer Student Club
At GDSC SCU, we provide students with the tools, resources, and community to learn cutting-edge technologies and grow as developers. With support directly from Google, our club helps students build real-world skills, collaborate on innovative projects, and connect with industry professionals. Every contribution helps us inspire and equip the next wave of developers.
Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers
IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers) is the world’s latest technical professional organization dedicated to advancing technology for the benefit of humanity. We host many professional workshops and social events every year. Your support enables us to host impactful events, provide cutting-edge resources, and create opportunities for students to collaborate on real-world challenges.
National Society of Black Engineers
Our chapter works to support our members while also utilizing our resources and connections to younger students learn about engineering. We host general meetings where we invite professional engineers to our members and discuss internship/job opportunities. Your support helps us expand our programs, provide valuable resources, and create lasting opportunities for our members and the community.
Pi Tau Sigma
Pi Tau Sigma is an Honor Society for Mechanical Engineers. Pi Tau Sigma is dedicated to hosting events that develop the professional and interpersonal skills of its members. The board works closely with the SCU Mechanical Engineering department to host diverse events designed to develop the conduct of its members in the academic and professional field. Your support helps us expand these opportunities, providing resources that empower the next generation of mechanical engineers.
Santa Clara Formula SAE
Formula SAE is an intercollegiate engineering design competition that is hosted by SAE
International. Formula SAE provides students with a practical application of the knowledge gained through college curricula, experience working in a collaborative environment, and a fantastic opportunity to network with other students, faculty, and companies. Your support helps us fund critical resources like materials, tools, competition fees, and travel expenses—allowing our team to push the limits of innovation and performance. Every contribution fuels our journey to success on and off the track.
SCU Maker Club
The Santa Clara University Maker Club is made up of an enthusiastic, diverse group of students with a desire to work with and learn more about the equipment located in the Santa Clara Engineering Maker Laboratory. Students are able to gain the knowledge and training required to use a vast majority of tools including 3D printers, laser cutters, stamp makers, power tools, and more. Your support helps us provide the resources needed for workshops, tool certifications, and exciting projects that fuel creativity and collaboration.
Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE)
SHPE is dedicated to fostering an inclusive community for Latiné and underrepresented students, empowering them through academic, professional, and social support. We offer workshops to enhance education and career paths, along with social events that strengthen community bonds. SHPE will utilize Day of Giving funds to send 15 of our members to the prestigious SHPE National Convention. This event serves as an invaluable networking opportunity, allowing our students to gain essential skills and access incredible career opportunities.
Society of Women Engineers
Society of Women Engineers (SWE) strives to create a welcoming and safe community for women engineers and allies to network, bond, and grow with fellow students. SWE hosts numerous social, professional and outreach events throughout the year. SWE holds a large network across campus and is strongly connected by alumni, professors, companies, and mentors from diverse engineering fields. Your donations to SCU SWE will fund on-campus events and send members to New Orleans for next year's SWE National Conference. These donations will benefit women engineering students by providing them with more professional opportunities.
Tau Beta Pi California Zeta Engineering Honor Society
Tau Beta Pi is an Engineering Honor Society consisting of Juniors and Seniors from the School of Engineering who have met a high standard of academic success. Your support helps us organize events such as networking dinners, general meetings, and ceremonies that foster a sense of community and encourage academic and professional growth among our members.
The American Society of Civil Engineers
The American Society of Civil Engineers Student Chapter at Santa Clara University is a student-run organization that supports civil engineering students develop both professionally and socially. Through site tours, workshops, and career fairs, we provide students with the tools and connections needed to succeed after graduation. We also foster a tight-knit community within the Civil, Environmental, and Sustainable Engineering department through social events and community outreach. Upsilon Epsilon Theta Tau (Theta Tau)
As Santa Clara University’s only co-ed professional engineering fraternity, Theta Tau takes great pride in upholding and embracing our three pillars: professional development, brotherhood, and service. The Upsilon Epsilon chapter of Theta Tau is an inclusive community of engineers that all strive to motivate and elevate one another. Women in STEM provides networking opportunities, academic support, and leadership opportunities to women involved in the STEM fields.
