Dr. Ramón Chacón Community Service Award

Be an Agent of Social Change

The Dr. Ramón Chacón Community Service Award honors up to four students per year that have demonstrated a history of service in marginalized communities. This endowment ensures that Dr. Chacón’s legacy lives on in future generations of Broncos serving as agents of social change.

Dr. Chacón served as associate professor of Latin American History and Ethnic Studies at Santa Clara University from 1981 until his passing in 2017.

This Day of Giving, support this award so our students can become agents of social change.
