Becoming All God Imagines, Together

Since launching our ambitious strategic plan, En Camino, at the end of the 2023/2024 academic year, the Jesuit School of Theology of Santa Clara University has experienced remarkable growth and progress! From transformational gifts that make a real difference to impactful synodal gatherings and exciting new initiatives, our shared vision for the future is flourishing. You play an essential role in this journey!

Your generous participation in the 2025 Day of Giving, with a gift to JST-SCU’s strategic initiatives fund, will directly support student scholarships, deepen our integration with Santa Clara University, and expand our innovative programming around synodality and the global Collaborative Theology Initiative. We are deeply grateful for your support as we journey together to answer the call to become all God imagines.

"The greatest gift for me has been the international community that we have here. To me, it's an environment where we are learning from each other. We come from many cultures, nations, languages, and even religious traditions. The way that we come together as a community to learn together and pray together has shaped me in ways that I could never quantify. I know that it's made me a richer Catholic, a richer Jesuit, and someone who is more aware of what's happening in the world. I can feel that I'm part of a global Church in this community." -Jack McLinden, S.J., M.Div. '25

“As a Jesuit priest and engineer, going to the Jesuit School in Silicon Valley was an opportunity I was praying for. Next year I will be pursuing complementary studies in Power Systems and Sustainable Energy at the Santa Clara campus. Santa Clara is shaping both my religious side and my engineer side.” -Didier Cimalamungo, S.J., S.T.L. '25

"They (JST-SCU) gave me a letter for a 100% scholarship and permitted me to do my first year of classes online. I am very grateful! One thing I really enjoyed at JST-SCU is the synodal form of learning. When I came here, my director asked me, 'What area of study are you interested in that you're bringing to JST-SCU? We are going to grow you from what you are coming with.' That amazed me." -Agatha Ejiakaedonwa Umenyi, A.G.M., S.T.L. '25

En Camino invites us to choose hope over fear and discover what God desires for us to become, rather than succumb to the limitations of what we hesitate to imagine. When we give generously into a shared vision like this, regardless of the amount, it is an investment in a future we are shaping together. Your gift is an opportunity to choose hope over fear, not just for yourself but for the women and men who will lead the Church of the future. Thank you for your friendship and partnership. -Agbonkhianmeghe Orobator, S.J., Dean of the Jesuit School of Theology of Santa Clara University
